Centre Commercial Auchan Avignon Nord

Massive shopping centre. The Auchan has everything (more of an hyper-marché, if you like). There's a Disney outlet, many womens and mens clothing stores, jewellery stores. There's fast food outlests, incl. Flunch, and other bistro-like places where you can have a coffee or pastis. There's a science and nature store which is well worth a look. I buy Panama hats there, and my wife buys jewellery.

There are places to sit and picnic outside.

Good for a day of poking around.

One more thing - if you go into Auchan, grab a couple of bottles of rosé, and slip them under the frozen peas or something in the frozen foods section of the store, it will be ready for lunch (I did mention picnic, didn't I?). Never travel in France without a corkscrew, and a row of plastic glasses in the trunk.

My wife and I have been to this store and we were both amazed at its size, product choice and spotless ambiance. Why couldn't we have a store like this in Toronto, Montreal or Vancouver ? Please Auchan ....expand there is a market here for you.....
