Uhangri Dinosaur Fossil Site area was originally part of the ocean, but this changed when the Lake Damsuho, and surrounding area, was created by the construction of the Geumho Tide Embankment.

Lake Damsuho have sea cliffs that are 3-4 meters high, stretching about 5km, made up of sedimentary rock formed during the Cretaceous age. Embedded in the rock around the lake are footprints of dinosaurs, pterosaurs and water birds that lived in this area tens of millions of years ago.

Facilities include outdoor exhibits, exhibition halls, dinosaur museum, Tyranno fountain, outdoor learning center, bird ecology center, dinosaur body experience center, dinosaur playground, rest area, etc.
