Chera Dip

The islet is also known as Chera Dwip, Cheradia Island etc. This is a small extension of Saint Martin Island at the mouth of Naf River, Bangladesh. In north-south, it is about 1.50 kilometer and the average width in east-west is about 200 meters. Though during high tides Chera Dip get disconnected with St Martin island, one can go on foot to this islet covering a distance of about half a kilometer. Corals are available on the shores of Chera Dip. Small bushes of Pine and some other vegetation can be seen in some parts. There is no habitation in this islet.
