Originally built as a Methodist Chapel in 1862, this was bought in 1947 by the Mancunian Film Company and converted into a film studio. The BBC bought it in 1954 and used it as a TV studio for, amongst other things, the first episodes of Top Of The Pops. It was demolished in the mid 1970s.
