St. Anne's Church in Mustjala is named after the wife of the Danish vice-governor of the time, Anne Sjöstedt. In 1605, she built a chapel, which was later rebuilt into a church. The high church tower served as a lighthouse for sailors. Gothic and Romanesque motifs can be seen in the church's design.
