This park was built in the 1920s. The restroom facilities and a community built playground were constructed in the mid 2000’s. The 12-acre community park is a major park for family and company picnics. Facilities include picnic shelters, volleyball court, playground equipment and a variety of mature and recently planted trees. There is a planned development of a bike path on the eastern edge of the park and more playground equipment is needed as well. Smith Park has many characteristics of a regional park.
