Restaurant Ostrovo is located in south east side of Ohrid lake, on one of islands just next to the unique springs of Black Drin river, surrounded by exceptional nature, famous in wider region. In this restaurant you can feel the taste of real Macedonian traditional food and well known fish specialities. The inside part of the restaurant has capacity for 90 persons, but during the season (from April till October) the whole island becomes a big summer garden where over 500 guests can enjoy in a nice and quiet atmosphere, below the shadow of old oak trees.
Boats cruise above the springs of Black Drin River.

The restaurant is offering an unforgettable boat cruise above the springs of Black Drin River. Those springs are considered to be “a mother” of Ohrid lake and the biggest visible springs in Ohrid lake coast. Because this protected area and part of Galichica National Park, cruise is operated with small boats without engine. It lasts 25-30 min, and visitors can see 30 underwater, 15 coastal and 7 main springs that make one big lake, flowing into the Ohrid lake. Water is very transparent, with the deepest point of 3.5 meters and it is ideal place for spawing of famous Ohrid trout. Springs are housing endemic flora and fauna and small water turtles which can be seen from June till October.
