There are two Ashokan Pillars at this place. Both the Pillars are in lying position under the RCC Shed. One of the pillar has six Pillar edicts engraved. The other pillar has no engravings. Both the pillars had Capitals at the top of the Pillar, one Bull Capital and one Lion Capital. Bull Capital is at Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi and Lion Capital is at National Museum at Kolkata.
