United States Air Force's intermediate professional military education (PME) school. This school prepares majors and lieutenant colonels with less than 16 years of service for command and staff duty at intermediate organ-izational levels. Each year about 400 U.S. officers and 170 officers from other countries enroll for 10 months to study military theory, air campaign concepts, and application of air and space power.
