This is the location of the old Duluth, Winnipeg, and Pacific Railyard in West Duluth. The aging facility was closed in 1984 and moved to Pokegama, WI near Superior, for the expansion of Interstate 35. The roundhouse foundation was still clearly visible for a while, although it with all the tracks and buildings have been removed.
