Great Oak, is a early Victorian manor house that historically encompassed most of Ferndown, Hampreston and upper Longham. Originally 700 acres, now only one third of an acre of gardens with 4 acres of woodland, Great Oak is now owned by the Murphy family estate. Owner Roy Murphy, a lifelong Bournemouth resident is currently in the process of full restoration.
