Founded in 1973, Casablanca American School is a coeducational, Nursery through Grade Twelve day school offering a U.S. style education designed to prepare students for university study.
Casablanca American School (CAS) was the first school in North Africa to offer the International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme, as well as the first to offer the IB Middle Years Programme. The IB Diploma permits students to gain entrance to outstanding universities around the world. CAS alumni have attended or are attending such universities as: Yale University, Stanford University, Harvard University, M.I.T., Universita Bocconi (Italy), La Sorbonne (France), London School of Economics (England), Faculté de Médecine de Casablanca (Morocco), McGill University (Canada), and Keio University (Japan).
