What appears to be a static caravan is a small coffee shop and snack bar. The prefabricated building was subsequently plonked on top of an unused podium structure which was built as part of the Elmbank Gardens complex - the sole surviving clue that the complex was supposed to expand further - over the Bridge to Nowhere in fact.
Its long term existence is questioned now - the plans for the 20-storey Venlaw Tower will mean the removal of the cafe and the podium.
