Mining at Albyn is planned to be conducted by open-pit methods and the Group is planning to treat ore from Albyn at an on-site 4.0Mtpa RIP plant using direct cyanidation technology. The plant will be constructed in two phases: The first 2.0Mtpa milling line is on schedule to be commissioned in Q4 2011 and the Group is planning to construct an additional 2.0Mtpa milling line by the end of 2013.
