Stroginsky backwater (Moscow)

Right-bank extended bay of Moscow river, located eastward of residental area Strogino. The widest basin in Moscow; stretches from east to west for 1,9 km, from north to south for 1,25 km. Its square is about 171 hectare or, judging by the measurement of the author (Yu. Nasimovich), 165 hectare.
