This is the award winning Jackseon Meadow housing development in Marine on St. Croix.

Developers Harold and Carol Teasdale set 230 acres of the development under a conservation easement as the upscale housing development aims to be a model for smart growth. The required design is very particular: houses can be only painted white and conform to an A-frame, box-type architectural style and a detached garage. The project opened in 1998.

Modern architecture designed by David Salmela, AIA, landscape architecture by Shane Coen of Coen + Partners.
