At the entrance of Beishan Park stood a monument with a bronze statue at the top. The monument is 24.13 meters in height and 3.85 meters wide. A bronze statue of a war hero stood with the right hand holding a gun and the left hand holding a bomb depicting his bravery in fighting the Japanese soldiers during the Sino-Japanese War. Inscription tribute to the martyr who gave his life in this conflict is carved on the monument.
