The capital of the island which holds the same name. The mother of the Greek hero, Karaiskakis is also buried on the island near an old fort. It also carries a secret which is hidden to avoid an over abundance of tourism. It is beautiful and peaceful here. I recommend visiting on the feast day of Agia Paraskevi where a 3-day celebration takes place around the last week in August.
