Computadoras, Redes e Ingeniería, S.A. (CRISA) is a spanish company founded in 1985 to develop and manufacture electronics and software products for aerospace applications (satellites, launchers, space station, and space transportation), defense and telecommunications sectors.
The European Space Agency (ESA) is by far the principal market of the company, being:
CRISA the principal space electronics company in Spain

With more than 120 accomplished projects, acting as contractor and subcontractor

With solid reputation in the development of critical units for the principal space programs based on high performance microprocessors

In recent years CRISA has increased its activity in the telecommunications commercial sector, in military satellite programs ( Helios 1 and Helios 2), and substantially contributes to the Ariane 5 european launcher, with the Sequential Electronics equipment.

Moving upward, and profiting from developed expertise in more than ten years in the space sector, CRISA focused on new markets such as Multimedia business for which advanced products are offered: commercial video transmission, high speed networks, and management systems for high capacity archives.

Along the side it ESA, CRISA has well known european companies as customers (MATRA, DASA, AEROSPATIALE, ALENIA), commercial operators (Eumetsat, Hispasat), and public organizations (INTA, AENA).
In all developments CRISA applies a strict quality system, in compliance with the standards:

PSS-01-XXX specific set of standards for space projects of the European Space Agency (ESA).

CRISA is a company member of Proespacio, the Spanish Association of Space Companies that groups most of the Spanish companies in the space sector. Proespacio’s objective is to promote and spread the space activities in Spain and to contribute to social knowledge and support of these activities.
