Sarıkum

Tzlak (Armenian: Ծլակ) is a village at the western shore of Lake Van in Armenian Highlands, 2 km west to the eponymous peninsula. Up to 1915-23 Armenian genocide this was Armenian village. Frist the aboriginal population and then its historical monuments were entirely destroyed by Turks. Since the 1920 original name was turkified, though currently it's a Kurdish populated village.
