Saengildo

Saengildo, or Saengil Island, meaning “birthday island” is in the East China Sea which is the base for island's economy. A large birthday cake sitting on top of the ferry terminal building greets visitors to the port. Saengildo is a popular destination for people celebrating a birthday. There are several specialty seafood restaurants at the pier that attracts visitors to the island.

The highest point is Baegunsan at 483m. Saengildo, is 4.6 kilometers (2.9 mi) long and 5.7 kilometers (3.5 mi) wide covering an area of 15 km²(5.8mi²)
