This friendly village is situated between the moorland, Wenger Moor and the foot of the hill, Tannberg and is an ideal starting point for bicycle or walking tours.
As well as being a pilgrimage centre, the village sports a wellknown top-class-restaurant and a famous "Bric-a-brac Shop". Village life is important. There are guided tours around the farms, people meet at the local inn on Sundays, bread still comes directly from the baker and yet a modern, well-equipped fitness centre has been built to extend the villages facilities.
