The house was built in 1939 by famous German architect Lange using the best materials and highest-standard workmanship on special soil brought from Germany. The main house was used as a residence for the German Reichskommissar Hinrich Lohse, Governor of Baltics and Belorussia during the war and later on as the Latvian President's VIP guest house. Nikita Krushchev, Richard Nixon, Francois Mitterrand, Mikhail Gorbachev, Boris Yeltsin, King and Queen of Sweden and other world leaders enjoyed their stay at this magnificent waterfront park mansion. The estate has 10-car garage - excellent choice for antique cars collector, or for a simple car lover. The second 250-square-meter house was designed for use by service staff. The estate has a magnificent view of the sea, with dramatic sunsets.

Brief history of "Baltics Cote D’Azur Mansion", 1938 Emilia Benjamin commissions the famous German architect Lange to build the most exclusive house in Latvia, in Majori, Jurmala (Riga beach). It becomes known as the Benjamin House. The 1940 Residence of the Marshal commanding the Soviet invasion forces. The 1941 Residence of Gauleiter Lohse, the Reichs Governor of the Baltics and Byelorussia. During 1945 – 1991, the official summer guest house of the Soviet Union. Visitors included, presidents from major countries - Nikita Sergejevich Khrushchev, Richard Nixon, François Mitterrand, Mikhail Gorbachev. In July 1990, Yeltsin resides at the house during his first visit to Latvia. In August 1991, Renewal of Independence agreed upon, Boris Yeltsin has symbolic meeting with the three Baltic presidents – Anatolijs Gorbunovs, Vytautas Landsbergis, Arnold Rüütel. During 1991 – 1995, used as the official guest house of the Republic of Latvia. Visitors included the King and Queen of Sweden.
