Monument To Eight Heroines

Located in Jiangbin Park next to Mudanjiang River, this group statue was constructed 1988. It is a memorial to eight women who sacrificed their lives by linking their arms waded into the Wusihun River in Linkou County rather than to surrender when they were heavily outnumbered during a fight in Sino-Japanese War in 1938.
