The Kalgidhar Trust, established by Sant Teja Singh Ji, MA, LLB, (Punjab), AM (Harvard) in deference to the wishes of his mentor Sant Attar Singh Ji, Mastuana Wale, is providing value based education through its branches spread over the Northern Indian states of Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh.

Immediately after laying the foundation stone of its 69th branch at village Chahal Kalan in Distt. Nawanshahr, Baba Iqbal Singh Ji performed Ardas at the 70th center at Chak Mander in the same district, following which the foundation stone was laid by the distinguished Five Beloved Ones headed by Giani Iqbal Singh Ji, Jathedar Takht Sri Patna Sahib.

Prior to the foundation-stone laying ceremony, the students of Akal Academy rendered holy hymns from Guru Granth Sahib. Two brothers, S. Sohan Singh and S. Bawa Singh from U.K. have donated land measuring 3 acres in sweet and loving memory of their parents Swaran Singh and Rattan Kaur.

Dr. Khem Singh Gill, Chairman, Akal Academy, honored the distinguished guests and the donors with Siropaos.

Baba Iqbal Singh Ji, Jathedar Giani Iqbal Singh Ji and Dr. Khem Singh Ji Gill addressed the congregation comprising of a large number of residents from the surrounding villages.
