  • This is Keihanna Commemorative Park, where the Suikeien Japanese garden is located. The park is usually closed on Thursdays, but open for the Moon Viewing event on the September equinox). Visitors can enjoy the autumn evening atmosphere, to enjoy a beautiful moon view from Suikeien, a Japanese garden. The atmosphere of this park is enhanced by the light up of Kangetsuro (meaning "moon viewing house") and Kangetsu-kyo (moon viewing bridge). Keihanna Memorial Park is a 24.1 ha. park, consisting of a lawn square, a Japanese garden, and other points of interest. It utilizes the scenery of woodland in the Minami-yamashiro area and is notable for setting as many as 500 big stones in circuit style fountain system. There are several facilities such as Suikeien Park, Kangetsuro, an observatory and exhibition room, a visitor center, a learning center, a lawn square, and others.
