The wooden church of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine (OCU) is a valuable historical and architectural landmark, a rare example of monumental wooden buildings of the Left Bank of Ukraine of the Baroque period.
It was built without nails in the traditional forms of Ukrainian wooden sacred architecture.

The temple was built no later than 1747, and was significantly rebuilt in 1852.
