house, mansion / manor house / villa, Romanesque (architecture), NRHP - National Register of Historic Places, interesting place
Built in 1884 for Joseph Peace Hazard (1807-1892). Druidsdream was built on what was part of Hazards Seaside Farm. In his diary, Hazard wrote he had a dream in which a Druid appeared to him and told him to build a stone house on this site, which explains the reason for the building’s name and construction. Though it was built for him, Hazard never actually lived there, since he already was living at Hazard's Castle. Druidsdream was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.
