It is the first congregational mosque in Al-Jabalab, and is located directly east of the current Al-Jabalab Club. This ancient mosque was destroyed by the famous flood of 1946 and rebuilt in 1948. A number of sheikhs succeeded to it.

First: Al-Faqi Al-Tayeb Al-Tarjumani
Second: Al-Faqi Ahmed Al-Kurdufani
Third: Al-Faqi Wad Sanhouri, from Qoz Bara
Fourth: Al-Faqi Abdul-Rahman, who was sent by Imam Abdul-Rahman Al-Mahdi
Fifth: Al-Faqi Abdullah bin Abdul-Wahhab bin Muhammad "Karfin" bin Al-Musaid bin Farah bin Muhammad bin Farah Al-Aghbash bin Abdul-Wahhab bin Jar Al-Nabi Al-Nafie'abi Al-Jabalabi
Al-Faki Abdullah Abdul-Wahhab Al-Jablabi was the last imam of the old mosque. He then moved in 1968 to the new (current) Al-Jablabi mosque, which was inaugurated by Imam Al-Hadi Abdul-Rahman Al-Mahdi. Al-Faki Abdullah Abdul-Wahhab Al-Jablabi, may God have mercy on him, remained an imam and preacher in Al-Jablabi for 37 years until he passed away to the mercy of God on Saturday morning
