Huambacho Archeological Complex

Main Compound, was built, and principally occupied, during the Early Horizon Period (900-200 BC). In the summer of 2003, excavations conducted at the site Huambacho, a large architectural complex located in the lower Nepeña Valley, revealed Moche material remains.
