This is one of the 3 "official" termini of the Long Beach freeway. The 710 splits into 3 spur freeways, each carrying the I-710 designation shield. The second termini ends at route 47 on Terminal Island, just after crossing the Desmond bridge, and the 3rd termini is on the thru lanes going toward the Queen Mary.
