This large shingle & half-timbered mansion is sited at the corner of Rockland Avenue & Gonzales Avenue with views across the Strait of Juan de Fuca.

Rappahannock was designed by Samuel Maclure for prominent local realtor Herbert Bowen. In 1954, it was converted into nine suites. The property retains its expansive grounds and surrounding stone wall.
