History:
1992 Founded by Dr. Mina T. Gabor, then Secretary of Tourism during the time of Pres. Fidel V. Ramos. The Philsmed office sits on a historic site that used to be the residence of Gov. Francis Burton Harrison, the first US Governor-General to the Philippines during the American Occupation.
2001 Became an award-winning organization when it received the Seal of Excellence from the Association of Small & Medium Enterprise in Beijing, China
