  • well it looks like the place where the power lines across the sea were tight to the ground. it is in line with the two towers of the ENEL power lines.
  • This may have been correct until 1994, when the powerline over Messina Strait was replaced by a submarine cable.
  • Interestingly it is not the cable terminal as the power cable to Sicily starts more southward
