Hwasong concentration camp (Hangeul: 화성 제16호 관리소, also spelled Hwasŏng ) is a labor camp in North Korea for political prisoners. The official name is Kwan-li-so (Penal-labor colony) No. 16.
Defectors reported, that political prisoners were forced to dig tunnels and build underground facilities and to do nuclear radiation exposed labor at the nearby North Korean nuclear test site.
