This is the crater belived that meteorite may created the crater or it may be a volcano crater.
Was found by archaeologist SR Rao. Prof Karanth and Gadhvi believe its an impact crater.
Place was visited by amateur astronomers from Ahmedabad, Bombay and Bhuj.
This creater is also known as Luna Jheel or Zeel in urdu for a lake.
Prof. G. Mathew of IIT - Bombay have found evidences of shocked quartz, impact glass and other high pressure phases etc.
Further investigation is in progress to know the impactor.
