The Broadway Mansions is a 19-floor former apartment house in Shanghai, located near the confluence of Suzhou Creek and Huangpu River as well as the northern end of the Bund. Built by P & T Architects and Engineers Limited, the building was completed as the Broadway Mansions in 1935. It was renamed Shanghai Mansions by the Shanghai Municipal Government in 1951, but reverted to its original name after China opened up again to the West. The Broadway Mansions is now a four-star hotel with 253 rooms and banquet halls on the 17th, 18th, and 19th floors.
