Sisingamangaraja Airport XII (IATA: DTB, ICAO: WIMN), formerly Silangit International Airport, is an airport located in Siborong-borong, North Tapanuli, North Sumatra. This airport has a runway size of 2,400 m x 30 m. The distance from the city center is around 7 km.

Silangit Airport was built during the Japanese occupation. The rebuilding of the airport began in 1995 by adding runways along 900 meters to 1,400 meters. In March 2005, President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono inaugurated the operation of Silangit Airport directly, since then airport construction began to be carried out intensively. In 2011, Silangit Airport finally had a runway of 2,400 meters and it was planned that in 2015 it would be extended back to 3800 by 45 meters (12467 ft × 148 ft), so that it could land wide-body aircraft on a regular basis. On January 18, 2011, Silangit Airport was visited by the President of the Republic of Indonesia and his entourage who used Boeing 737-500 aircraft. With the President's arrival, it was stated that Silangit Airport was able to serve aircraft in the class of A320, A320neo, A330, & B737 Next Generation, & MAX.
