Equality Park (Newport, Rhode Island)

Equality Park, in the junction of these highways, is a small triangular grass plot in which boats of the British sloop 'Liberty' were burned in July, 1769. In the center of the park is the Spanish American War Memorial, a bronze statue of Victory with sword in hand.
