The summit of Mount Warburton Pike is the second highest point of land in the Gulf Islands, after Mount Maxwell on Salt Spring. The natural slopes and ridge are habitat for eagles, falcons, owls and ospreys and the mountaintop has been used by First Nations for spiritual and sacred purposes.
