The BT Cardiff Bay Data Centre is one of the newest and most advanced anywhere in the world, incorporating all the appropriate current technologies. It was purpose built to support the full range of BT hosting and managed service options.

The site consists of 3 data halls capable of hosting an estimated total of 12,000 servers. However, it is not a ‘lights out’ data warehouse as the dedicated office building has the capacity for 300 support staff, who are able to develop and support total hosting solutions.

Resilient global connectivity is provided by two diversely routed 500 Mbits/s circuits into the Internet and the full range of network options is also available to enable customers to connect securely to their own networks
