The five-storey apartment building was built in 1902-1903 gg. in the style of European Art Nouveau. It was built as an apartment building commissioned Zhilinsky entrepreneur who rented luxury apartments to wealthy people as well as foreigners. In the 80 years of the twentieth century, the building was restored, however, unique moldings and decorative elements remain intact.
On the external decoration you can see the outlines of the snakes, "mystical" fish, insects, flies or similar (on the top floor windows). Not without Medusa, whose stern face is repeated several times.
Judging by the diversity of "totem" elements of Kiev house with insects can be described as the most secure in the capital.
