Built in the 1980's to replace the 1950s Evan Roberts Building, which in turn replaced the Red Lion Hotel (source: South Wales Echo, May 19 1986 via Keith Edkins: see photo comment for attribution & re-use license) - this building is now principally home to the Cardiff Branch of the business arm of the Lloyds TSB Banking group. A public branch office occupies most of the street level, although other street level tenants (2011) include :
