The Center of Leon is the most enjoyable, relaxing place within the city's boundaries. I recommend this area more than the Plaza de Zapatos for shoe shopping. The scenery is more intriguing, with cobble stone paths and ancient Spanish architecture. This area presents a nice break from the city structure of Leon. Cafes, restaurants, music, live theater, and plenty of churches to visit.
