Ivar Theater

Used to be a vaudeville place, then a cheezy strip stage show in the 80s. Featured a "camera night". Tom Waits has a song lyric that goes "colder than a ticket takers stare at the Ivar Theater". Anyway, the bar in the back called the Gas Light was a great hole in the wall with a pool table and three live acts a night. It emptied onto an alley way at Cosmo.
