Sabayil Castle is an old fortress in Baku, Azerbaijan, on the coast of the Caspian Sea.
It was rediscovered in the 1960s when the level of the Caspian went down far enough to expose the foundations. Archaeologists were able to explore the area and a number of large, decorated rocks have been put on display (along with background information) in the Shirvanshah Palace in the Old City of Baku.
