Cuccaro Monferrato is a small village located atop an hill in Piedmont, Alessandria province, Italy. It was ihnabited since Middle Ages and most of people is devoted to wine and related tourism. Cuccaro Monferrato hosted the Swedish soccer player and team manager Niels Liedholm that bought a wine farm nearby, but is mostly known due to the fact that some ancestor and desecendants of Columbus lived here.
