Kroumata (Percussion Ensemble) was formed in 1978 and has since developed something of a cult status. It commissions and performs works by Swedish and international composers, and has toured widely. Since 1997 Kroumata has had its own venue, Capitol (St Eriksgatan 82), a converted theatre that serves as an intimate concert hall for a few performances a year.
