"Designated Toboggan Hill Area". Family oriented purposely built, professionally engineered toboggan hill. Two hills in one. Lower hill for younger families, higher hill more challenging. Flat staging area at the top. Clusters of pine/spruce trees make you feel like your up North instead of a heavily programmed regional urban park. Slopes facing North equals less snow melt caused by sunshine.
- clean fill clay/sand mix provides a smooth surface for tobogganing on seemingly the lightest of snow.
- toboggan party anyone? This is the place.
- A destination for dog walkers, joggers, photographers, cyclists, kite flyers, birders, or those just seeking contemplative repose in a rural like setting. Spectacular views from benches.
- Centennial Park Disk Golf course section on slopes. The Centennial Park course is made up of 27 holes and is a par 72. It’s also quite lengthy at roughly 1.4 km. The course is free to play, is open year round, and has also been used for national and international competitions.

- Tobogganing is prohibited on the ski hill with its steep slopes where numerous serious injuries have occurred. A cop will direct you here to the toboggan hill if your caught. - Parks planted over 1000 trees/shrubs on the ski hill in 2010/11 covering areas traditionally used by illegal tobogganers. With that action there is expected even larger crowds over at the good old Designated Toboggan Hill.
