A sand, rock and gravel quarry. Known as Belgard Quarry, acquired by Tom Roche in 1968 for Roadstone, developed into one largest in Ireland, It's current depth is 45 meters. There is another 50 years production left. It produces 2 million tonnes of crushed stone annually.

  • my dad used to work there and there was some hulla ballo bout some guy who robbed them out of a bunch of money but they couldn't prove it so they only thing they could do to him was let him go. haha
